Job Description

  • The selected resource would be a member of the project team who takes responsibility for implementing parts of the system architecture using best practices in an agile development environment.
  • This will include coding, unit testing, using design patterns, learning new technologies, and becoming an expert in one part of the system

Key Responsibilities

  • The role requires extensive work on AWS especially on AWS Glue using Python or pyspark scripting
  • This role requires to work with designer/architect to understand the design based on the business requirement. Understand the aggregation, transformation and translation logic.
  • Work with different feature of AWS Glue (Glue studio, crawler, connectivity to databases, S3 bucket etc.) and write Glue script to formulate the final payload.
  • This role requires extensive working with JSON as payload, understand the JSON structure and data model and how to aggregate and transform the data from JSON to JSON payload.

Required Skills

  • The person must have excellent hands on skill for AWS Glue using Python and PiSpark as scripting language to transform and/or aggregate the JSON data.
  • The person must have worked with different Glue features e.g. Glue studio, crawlers and connectivity to different data store e.g. databases, S3 buckets etc.
  • The person must has excellent ETL skills, extracting data from different data stores using REST API interface, S3 bucket and JDBC connectivity to databases.
  • The person should have good communication skills, a good team player and has worked in Agile methodology before
