BIM Specialist - Plumbing

Symetri is seeking a BIM Specialist - Plumbing to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Support the success of the Symetri sales team by providing technical presentations, recommending solution offerings and marketing messaging.
  • Deliver online webinars to customers.
  • Grow and maintain respected, long-term, trusted advisor relationships with customers and members of the Symetri sales force involved with the opportunity.
  • Be able to demonstrate, map/integrate disparate AEC technologies to solve design workflow inefficiencies.
  • Present proposed technical solution(s) and relate them to the customer's business concerns.
  • Provide Technical Support to help customers through technical issues.
  • Deliver training at either Symetri or client offices.
  • Provide staff augmentation and mentoring services to support customers.
  • Develop technical documentation for standards and workflows.
  • Establish metrics for quantifying the customer's return on investment and justification for solution investment.
  • Lead discovery of adjacent opportunities
  • As needed travel to client sites.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in the means and methods of field installation of plumbing systems.
  • Experience in a fabrication shop environment.
  • Demonstrated and recent direct experience with the process, workflow and use of Autodesk Fabrication (CADmep/CAMduct) and Autodesk Revit MEP or other associated trade specific CAD based programs.
  • Spool drawings.
  • Navisworks coordination.
  • Revit MEP project setup.
  • Creation and administration of an Autodesk Fabrication database (.ITMs).
  • Understands the workflow from design to preconstruction to detailing to fabrication.


Salary Range: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 Annually
