PositionSummary:

F5 Networks Security and Distributed Cloud business owns some of the fastest growing of the company's products. As a driver of F5's future growth, SDC is a crucial area of strategic interest for F5. You will join the leadership of SDC as we drive that growth and expand our footprint in the security market.



The Business Operations Analyst supports the business and programmatic activities of the Support and Services Organization, a customer-facing team responsible for delivering a fully managed security service offering for our customers. The business operations team supports these efforts with strategic and operational initiatives that make service delivery ridiculously easy for F5ers and our customers.

This is a highly strategic and analytic role that requires a self-starter capable of operating in an ambiguous world. They will work cross-functionally with services, support, customer success, product, and engineering stakeholders to deliver value for our customers. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, a strong communicator, and able to thrive in an uncertain world.

What will you do?

Business and Programs Planning and Strategy
  • Support a team of program managers dedicated to operational excellence through analytical and administrative project-based work
  • Manage and streamline team access request processes for an organization with 250+ team members
  • Drive and implement change across a large organization with several interrelated customer-facing and internal engineering teams
  • Project/program manage operational rhythm-of-business initiatives to increase visibility and awareness of the business and driving change
  • Build and implement an overall structure to track and drive project execution across a portfolio of programs spanning multiple disciplines, including engineering, product, analytics, support, customer success, and services.

To succeed, you will need:
  • Exceptional project and program management skills
  • Deep understanding of business operations with a working knowledge of financial reporting
  • Ability to apply structured thinking to ambiguous and complex problems
  • Flexible and adaptable to adjust quickly to evolving needs
  • Collaborative skills to enable frictionless decision-making
  • Experience leading, owning, and driving sophisticated projects with multiple work streams spanning different businesses and teams
  • Real passion for and proven track record for execution with measurable results in a multifaceted, energizing environment

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years experience in an enterprise software company with solid cross-functional experience, deep business, and technical skill
  • BA or BS in Business Administration or equivalent experience required; Project Management Certification, SQL, and Advanced Excel skills are preferred
