What you will be doing

This is an onsite Conshohocken, PA based OR Remote based position.

The Director, Cencora Program Communications will play a critical role in partnering with program leadership, commercial, marketing, brand, HR, consultants, and other teams throughout the company. They will create and execute effective communications to help drive awareness and understanding of the brand change and the operational, customer and team member impacts.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in complexity and an agile environment, can build collaborative relationships with senior leadership and cross-business partners, and wants to help complete one of the largest-ever brand implementations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as a strategic communications advisor/lead for the Cencora Brand Implementation Program leadership team and its governance on project-related communications by understanding and developing communication strategies and plans to meet internal and customer needs.
  • Interprets the impacts of the brand implementation to create and deliver key messages that create awareness of program goals and milestones, drive engagement in the project, and provide team and customer enablement and support through the changes, mitigating operational impact.
  • Develops annual and long-term program communications strategy and executes in enterprise channels in collaboration with global communication, brand and marketing teams.
  • Maintains prioritization of communications deliverables toward achieving the communications plan and reports progress and metrics.
  • Develops intranet and newsletter content, town hall content, project presentations, customer communications and other materials and facilitates the review process.
  • Member of all related program workstreams, and able to serve as a subject matter expert on the project throughout the enterprise.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

What your background should look like

  • Requires broad training in fields such as communications, marketing, business operations, brand, strategy, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree Program
  • Normally requires a minimum of ten (10) years directly related and progressively responsible experience
  • High degree of technical knowledge of principles in communications, marketing, and change management
  • Ability to understand and strategically interpret project goals into messaging and provide senior leadership guidance
  • Tactical agility and consultative approach to problem solving with a bias toward delivery and results
  • Superior interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence without direct management authority and collaborate with senior level executives
  • Must be highly resourceful, self-motivated, and adaptive to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous detail orientation, with excellent follow through and follow up
  • Ability to identify and proactively manage risks to the successful execution of business short- and long-term strategy
  • Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability in managing teams
  • Demonstrated history of operating as a business manager
  • Superior oral and written communications skills
  • Strong creativity
  • Working knowledge of computers necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs
