Scope:

To support the March of Dimes' Learning Management System (LMS) and the Professional Education Department with development of trainings, including instructional design and creation of SCORM files. Position is also responsible for administering technology and platforms for the delivery of live trainings. In addition, the Instructional Support Specialist will support business operations related to the delivery of education as needed in the organization.



Responsibilities:

Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:


  • Responsibilities encompass configuring courses, generating reports, developing certifications, designing learning paths and curricula, and collaborating with internal clients to enhance the learning experience. The Learning Management System (LMS) supports more than 30,000 of healthcare professionals, health care consumers, and March of Dimes staff.
  • LMS administration duties will include but not be limited to:
    • eLearning setup and tracking with the Professional education team
    • Customer support and service with online education purchases, coupon codes, trouble-shooting & tracking, such as resetting passwords for users and adjusting dynamic rules, and other end user support
    • Updating the LMS store with new offerings & content updates
    • Designing and distributing reports for customers (both third party funders and direct purchasers) & weekly/monthly enrollment reports to active eLearning groups

Navigation of technology and platforms for the delivery of live trainings:

  • Live training support via Zoom classroom management with technologies such as Jamboard, MS teams, LearnUpon, etc.
  • Managing Live training Registrations and admittance as well as credentialing reports

Instructional Design and Training Development:

  • Responsibilities encompass working with the Professional Education Team and SMEs to design new course content in Articulate.
  • Knowledge of Instructional design, SCORM file creation and management required. Knowledge of ADA compliance and compliance with security requirements, specifically with college/university customers is also necessary.

Business support

  • Work with the Professional Education Team to maintain credentialing compliance.
  • Generate reports for finance to accurately recognize revenue
  • Evaluate the capacity for the delivery new educational offerings and partnerships with corporate engagement, product innovation, and the market staff.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience
  • Four year college degree or equivalent experience
  • The ideal candidate will have robust technical and communication skills, collaborate effectively with colleagues and customers, and have relevant background experience with and qualifications. Experience with LearnUpon LMS and Articulate preferred
  • ADA, WAGS training
  • Creativity, adaptability, leadership, ability to handle multiple projects, excellent customer service skills
