As an IT Business Analyst supporting business operations at the Johns Creek, GA location, you will be trusted to work solution design, implementation and support across on-premises and cloud technology.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Supporting the deployment of IT services, applications, systems, and processes through analysis of strategy and objectives of the organization, regulatory requirements, outstanding practices; as well as a detailed understanding of the business processes being supported by the IT organization.
- Collaborating with internal and external team members on the planning and delivery coordinated solutions using experience and awareness of domain standard methodologies.
- Responsibility for the operations, applications, and regulatory compliance related to IT systems implemented at the local site and cloud-based applications.
- Partnering with the business to translate needs into technical and infrastructure requirements.
- Supporting evaluation of new applications, and onboard new application(s) following defined IT processes.
- Ensuring server and database patching coordinated and performed per schedule.
- Fixing and handling the lifecycle of incidents to minimize their adverse impact on business operations.
- Identifying potential improvement areas for the owned system or application and connected services.
- Providing on-call IT support on a rotation basis with other IT staff.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- 2 Years of Relevant Experience
- Work hours: Standard hours, on site required
- Experience working in a corporate IT environment with applications hosted on Windows Server OS, Red Hat Linux OS, and using Oracle, MS SQL, and/or Postgres databases
- Utilization of PowerShell, ServiceNow, Saviynt, Confluence, and Jira.
- Experience working with AWS, Azure and or Microsoft Power Platform and M365.
