Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in application development, management, and operations on distributed cloud environments.
  • Experience building cloud platforms and distributed systems at enterprise-scale.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in product management and strategy.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code/Declarative Configuration, data, UX, developer experience, engineering effectiveness, user research, developer tools, distributed systems, third-party developer tooling ecosystem.
  • Ability to deliver products that drive customer success and market leadership.
  • Ability to deliver successfully within pressing timelines.

  • Excellent customer engagement and understanding of needs and opportunities for Google Cloud.

    As a Google Cloud Product Manager, you will drive product strategy and partner closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver on the next phase of cloud services. Additionally, you will develop product solutions, Mergers and Acquisitions, go-to-market, and business relationships to execute on the market potential and benefits possible from applying Google's technologies in the enterprise market. You will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

    In this role, you'll be considered for all teams working on Enterprise, including Google Cloud Platform, Google Workspace, Unified Fulfillment Optimization, Google Cloud Systems, Google Cloud Security, Business Application Platform, Google Cloud AI/ML, Developer Product Group, and Internal Tools.

    (British Columbia & Canada-Remote Only) The British Columbia base salary range for this full-time position is CAD 147,000-175,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     Responsibilities

    • Lead product efforts for Google Cloud Platforms (GCPs) Terraform Provider and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
    • Lead research and map core user journeys across the IaC landscape, both to understand where we are today as well as where the gaps and strategic opportunities exist.
    • Define GCPs declarative configuration/IaC strategy and roadmap.
    • Partner with third-party ISVs to co-innovate and to create paths that seamlessly flow between GCP and third-party experiences.
    • Work closely with cross-organization/cross-functional partners to align strategies, user experience, information experience, prioritization, and resourcing.
