Job Summary:

Responsible for driving the success of our products and solutions within the hyperscale cloud marketplaces. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, launch, and optimize our offerings on major cloud platforms, ensuring their alignment with customer needs and marketplace requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of hyperscaler cloud environments, excellent project management skills, and a strong focus on delivering value to the customer.

Responsibilities:

Marketplace Product Strategy:

  • Develop a comprehensive product strategy for the hyperscaler marketplaces, considering customer demand, market trends, and driven offerings.
  • Define clear value propositions for our products and solutions, highlighting unique benefits and differentiation in the cloud marketplace context.

Product Development and Launch:

  • Collaborate with the product development team to define product requirements and features that meet the marketplace guidelines and requirements of hyperscale cloud providers
  • Lead the end-to-end product launch process, including marketplace integration, documentation, pricing, and go-to-market plans

Marketplace Optimization:

  • Continuously monitor and analyze performance metrics and customer feedback within the hyperscaler marketplaces
  • Find opportunities for product optimization and improvement, working closely with the development team to implement enhancements

Partnership Management:

  • Build and nurture relationships with hyperscale cloud providers, understanding their product roadmap and requirements to align our offerings effectively
  • Collaborate with cloud provider teams to explore co-selling opportunities and joint marketing initiatives

Sales Enablement and Support:

  • Develop sales enablement materials and training programs to equip the sales team with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively position and sell our marketplace products
  • Provide support to sales teams in customer engagements, addressing technical questions and product-related inquiries

Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure that all products and solutions meet the compliance and security standards required by the hyperscale cloud providers
  • Stay updated on changes to marketplace policies and guidelines and implement vital adjustments to maintain compliance

Market Intelligence and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings within the hyperscaler cloud marketplaces
  • Use market insights to advis product roadmap decisions and go-to-market strategies

Customer Engagement and Feedback:

  • Engage with customers and partners to gather feedback on marketplace products, incorporating their insights into product improvements and future iterations
  • Advocate for customer needs and use cases in product development discussions

Skills and Attributes:

Hyperscale Cloud Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of hyperscale cloud environments, including major providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with cloud architecture, services, and offerings within hyperscale cloud platforms

Product Management Skill:

  • Proven experience in product management, with a track record of developing and launching successful products in technology markets
  • Ability to define clear product strategies, prioritize features, and drive product development from concept to launch

Project Management:

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination
  • Ability to lead multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely and successful delivery

Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Proficiency in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and trend identification within the hyperscale cloud marketplaces
  • Skill in translating market insights into comprehensive product strategies that align with customer needs and market demands

Partnership and Relationship Building:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building and nurturing relationships with hyperscale cloud providers
  • Ability to understand partner requirements and collaborate on joint initiatives, such as co-selling and marketing efforts

Technical Competence:

  • Familiarity with technical aspects of cloud services and infrastructure to effectively connect with development teams and address technical inquiries

Sales Enablement:

  • Experience in developing sales enablement materials and training programs to equip the sales team with the knowledge to effectively position and sell marketplace products

Customer-Centric Mentality:

  • Strong customer orientation and ability to gather customer feedback, translate it into actionable insights, and incorporate it into product development

Compliance and Security Awareness:

  • Knowledge of compliance and security standards required by hyperscale cloud providers to ensure products meet vital guidelines

  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and customer feedback to find opportunities for product optimization and improvements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively conveying product strategies, plans, and insights to both internal teams and external partners

This role demands a strategic problem solver with a comprehensive understanding of hyperscale cloud environments, the ability to drive product success through partnerships, and a strong focus on delivering valuable solutions that meet customer demands within the dynamic cloud marketplace landscape.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Hyper-scale Cloud Experience: Prior product management experience in hyperscale cloud space.
  • Experience with leading or optimizing marketplaces required
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to derive insights from data is critical
  • Solid understanding of marketplace strategies, including pricing strategies, supply and demand dynamics, competitor analysis, and growth strategies

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

  • San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $160,000 to $273,000
  • California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $153,000 to $261,000
  • Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $139,000 to $237,000

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
