Job Description Summary

Responsible for operating in lock-step with product management to create a clear strategic direction for building and managing enterprise industrial software products for the BWRX-300. You will work with the team and deliver a clear and descriptive set of requirements to enable the qualification and delivery of a products features and functionality. Your priority is seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders based on the BWRX-300 Digital Strategy.

The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters Wilmington, NC but qualified remote candidates will be considered.

Roles and Responsibilities



  • Demonstrates excelling business acumen, knows latest industry trends for industrial Digital Twin software platforms and is looked at as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape.
  • Interacts with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, setting product roadmaps.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to deliver features and significant products.
  • Owns and manages software products including distribution and customer interface.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product for Monitoring and Diagnostic and enterprise software used to support a fleet of Nuclear Small Modular Reactors.
  • Owns and manages the backlog; continuously orders and prioritizes features and backlog items.
  • Prioritizes continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.
  • Demonstrates strategic level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity.
  • Translates unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit.
  • Mentors junior team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)and Minimum of 5 years of experience with Software Business Analyst, Software Engineering, Software Quality Assurance, or Software Product Management
  • OR other Bachelor's Degree and Minimum of 10 years of experience with Software Business Analyst, Software Engineering, Software Quality Assurance, or Software Product Management

Desired Characteristics

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • Experience with software such as Asset Performance Monitoring, Predictive Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Experience with Digital Twin software, Remote Monitoring and Diagnostic software.
  • Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.
  • Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering teams.
  • Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.
  • Demonstrates the ability to analyze impact of technology choices.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the competitive environment
  • Pre-emptively sees downstream consequences and effectively tailors influencing strategy to support a positive outcome.
  • Able to verbalize what is behind decisions and downstream implications.
  • Influences and energizes other toward the common vision and goal. Maintains excitement for a process and drives to new directions of meeting the goal even when odds and setbacks render one path impassable.
  • Innovates and integrates new processes and/or technology to significantly add value to GE. Identifies how the cost of change weighs against the benefits and advises accordingly. Proactively learns new solutions and processes to address seemingly unanswerable problems.

The salary range for this position is $102-130k. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
